After reviewing my record, he used the spine model in his office to show me where my problem areas were. He explained what he thought was happening and how things function when properly aligned. He took the time to explain—in layman’s terms—and wanted me to get X-rays before performing any major adjustments. I noted his facial expressions. He was professional, animated, willing to share his knowledge, and there was absolutely no condescension. He wanted to explain, and he wanted me to understand. He discussed the placement of cold packs, the importance of proper foot alignment, orthotics, and even showed me exercises I could do at home. This would definitely be an integrative experience—a team effort toward better health. When I left his office, I immediately called my daughter and, crying and smiling, told her that I had found my doctor. That was two years ago. Now, both Dr. B’s take the time to explain, always answering any questions that come up—and yes, the spine model is still in use.
